Today a group of Orlando Firefighters stood in unity with New York City Firefighters to pay tribute to the 343 firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11. They climbed 343 floors, one floor per firefighter who lost their life, taking over three hours to complete inside the Bank of America staircase.
Not just Orlando showed up for the memorial. Other surrounding departments participated in the event. "It shows unity not just in our profession, but in our country." stated by Firefighter Matt Magee after he finished.
